I just shot them an e-mail regarding this. If you are not plugged into a computer, I wonder if you really need to update the firmware. I did notice that the update will cost nothing though!!!

the old fermware was ver 2.1

it had heater option and pumps.. as where in 2.5 the power heads are called wave maker.... and the Heater is called temp controller..and now has a high low seting insted of a turn on point.

all of the faiules with this controller that ive red about has bin because of Ph doesing...

i would be carefull....
