OK, were gonna move the nano 5.5 from her house, to my house (ruffly 10 mile drive)

my plan,

brake down all the equipment (lights cords pumps)

1 or 2 buckets,

most of water in one bucket, leave a little water in the tank, 2 slosh a round while we drive....

IM gonna leave the rock set up, and the snails and hermits in the tank, with the water...

move the stand, replace stand.. and in the famous words of chilton,

installation is the reverse order or removal.......

ill suport the tank on a board and put it on her lap while i drive... (maybe 25lbs or so)

any ideas.....

this should take less then 35 min.

Yeah...I got one idea:D Most people would not recommend moving a tank with rock in it. The weight they say can break the seals and also, falling rocks can break the glass...Just a thought. Good luck with the move:)

rocks in the bucket? with water?

yep.

I was doing some transporting yesterday. My advice: To minimize sloshing, avoid potholes. I noticed much less sloshing durring a hard turn, start, or stop then a single small pothole.

Of course, I drive a RSX not a Crown Vic.

So what happened? A dad actually won the custody battle?!

Yeah, my first car was a 88' Prelude. This one reminds me, a lot, of it (but newer). :)
