ok well i have a chance to get it on a group buy for some AC3 combos, includes new color ac3,ph & orp probes & dc8. if we can get 12 pl interested then we can get them for 550$ shipped plus paypal fees.that a 100$ savings from normal price

note: additional items added will not change the group buy combo, just be a per individual add on.

Wrong, you are a new poster, who doesnt even list his location and has no history on this forum, and you are asking people to send you 550 dolalrs through email. Thats just a little fishy. I dont need to talk to you to know that.

So you decided to change your username since the last GB? ... You expect me to just believe this?

no it was a gb over on reefcentral where i had a issue with a mod name geo, had to do with me selling corals. i wasnt asking ppl to send money to email, just listing the email as a way to communicate, since over on reefcentral they read all your private messages. since creating this account last year i have gotten out of the coral prop business, now i sell my custom reactors and try to help ppl out with good deals on items.

First of all, with 1000's and 1000's of people over at RC, its rediculous to thint hat the mods sit around reading everyons private messages.
Secondly, who cares even if they do? Why try to hide it? What is the mod going to do? I am sure they have better things to do then read our messages....


I mean if people want to do this GB go for it, its a free country. I just want to give people a little heads up, because not everyone is as good as spotting those kind of things. If it were me, never in a million years.

man so quick to judge ppl. and yes, rc has bots for the moderators that simply wit around and wait for keywords to pop up in messages, i know a few ppl that have been banned via things said in pm's . and yes mods over at rc have nothing better to do. according to them, since i had eggcrate under my frags i was considered a commercial hobbyist and banned, how lame it that.

but thats cool, thanks for scaring everyone into thinking i am trying to scam,

its funny, ppl think you are scamming them when they can get a good deal, now when you a ripping ppl off, charging way too much for a frag, then the feel that they got something rare. LOL

I used to know someone that did something similar. Just a heads up to anyone on the forum. If you ever get into a group buy or even buy something from someone online send payment for it via money order or check. Once they cash it there is a money trail, and you know that person really exists at that address. If they fail to follow through you then contact law officials in their home town. Most people make the mistake of letting things go...police are actually pretty good at that sort of follow up if you ever run into that. (Not saying this is a scam.)

If your purpose here is to doa group buy, and the purpose of a group buy is to get lots of buyers to drive the price down, then why are you not advertising this on Reefcentral? I know you said your old username was banned or something, but why not create a new one, like you did here? It doesnt make sense.

Also, if you are indeed a seller of custom reactors, then how do you expect to meet customers without using the internet? If you sold reactors, we should know of your presence. How else are you going to sell CUSTOM reactors without using the net? Youll quickly run out of places to mak custom reactors if your only doing it on a local scale.

And finally, why do we need to email you for more info? If there are additional add ons, then list them in the main group buy post. What other info could there possibly be that you can only share via email? It sounds to me like your trying to have 100% control of the information flow, which again, puts up another red flag for scam.

ok so reefcentral has a monitors ip and mac addresses as well as something else, i tried to create a new account but it was deleted in minutes. i only had the email on there because that was a copy of the message i was gonna send out on reef central, i have no problem discussing all info on the forums.
i sell custom reactors to ppl i know locally and to people who i have sold frags to. i am have a small business of maintaining tanks and sell reactors that way. i dont care to advertise on the internet because of reefcentral and there stupidity for just about all things. search my posts on RC for zapata41 , you will see i was super active on that forum.

i also dont care to build 50 reactors a month, it is a side deal and i like to keep it that way, i have a real job that pays the bills, i just enjoy making things out of acrylic, thus why i have a acrylic fab shop.

anymore questions feel free to ask them, as i am hiding nothing.

returnofsid- read what i wrote above, i was banned because GEO the ***** mod he is labeled me as a commercial hobbyist because i had my coral on egg crates and used heat sealed shipping bags.

but yeah mods at RC think they are all high and mighty because they are a mod at a web forum, did you know that the owners of Marine Depot and RC are affiliated, nifty huh
