Hello Kevin

The description on Austera & the attached pics are very helpful. May be you would like to have a look at the attached pic of my acro when first introduced into the tank in 2006. The acro do have rounded radial corallites but not sure about the different shades of the polyps. Between Austera & Tortuosa I think mine is closer to the former.

I think you may be right. Here is another colony of A. austera. This one is located in a high flow environment.
