Acrylic question.

While installing the sump I just made I was doing the flood test. The water went below the overflow level in the tank, but kept coming in anyway....SO my assumption is that the overflow has separated from the bottom of the tank itself. Now without emptying the tank water materials can I use to repair this?? I was thinking some of that moldable epoxy like when you build aquascape rolled into a bead and placed on the inside edge of the overflow???

Thoughts?

You got a pic of the over flow??
I would imagine that the putty would work.. I would put it on eh sand/main tank side to let the pressure of the water to help make a tighter seal

Just a standard basic center overflow....herbie in the back. I would get a pic...but it's behind the rock.

Just a quick question. It isn't siphoning back thru the return line is it? Do you have a siphon break that is plugged?

I have a check valve on mine and a siphon break and had that trouble too.
I added two more small siphon breaks in the tubing since snails seem to like it and hang out there.

Yes I know that because I added locline to remove the return lines from the water....soooo I know it isn't back siphon.
