Another Critter ID Please ?

I do not have a picture of this thing, but it definitely looks just like the tip of a condylactus anemone tentacle, and was briefly sticking out from under the edge of a piece of base rock. It was maybe an inch long, and emitted a milky substance for a couple of minutes which clouded the water column, then it later disappeared. What could this organism possibly be, please ?

Perhaps it is a stomatella snail, sounds similar to my first encouter. Hard to say for sure with no pic though.
