Hi All!

Well put in the bulkheads in the back of the tank and put in the screen plugs for the two drains to CLS...

Do you just hand tighten the bulkheads?

Enclose are a couple of pics! Johnny:)

Hi Johnny,
I always use a little silicone grease on my bulkhead gaskets and then tighten them down just slightly with a pair of channellocks. Be sure the gasket doesn't squeeze out from the flange. If it does it's too tight.

Also remember the gasket always goes against the flange never the nut. It does not matter which way the bulkhead is mounted (with the flange inside or outside the tank).

HTH,
Kevin

Hey Johnny that looks awesome, yes as stated above, that is exactly how they should be mounted. My question to you is where did you get those particular Bulkheads, they look super duty, I would like to get some one day?

Scott,
They are schedule 80 bulkheads. You can get them from www.savko.com . Thing to remember is that they are MUCH larger than typical schedule 40 bulkheads.
Looking good Johnny!
Nick

Magoo I smear silicone caulking all over both the gasket and the thread then tighten them by hand.

Mike
