i have a trio of Resplendent Anthias (Pseudanthias pulcherrimus) in a 220. I would like to add a few Evansi Anthias (Pseudanthias evansi) to this tank. Both are known as peaceful species but in this size tank would there be enough space to allow them to live together?

I researched as much as I could about these two species and so far I have concluded "maybe". I can live with a maybe but if any of you guys know that this is a bad idea for sure please let me know so I could avoid a potential disaster.

I keep 5 Lyretail, 2 Ignitis and a Pictilis in my 450. I am actually looking for a couple more Pictilis. I have no problems with agression at all. In fact the Ignitis and Pictilis tend to hang out together.

You should notice some initial aggression from the established anthias when you add the new anthias, but after a day or so you'll see it diminish. In the wild, there is huge shoals of anthias that have a mixture of different types. You should see the most dominant female from each group become a male also.

To help combat the initial aggression, you might consider adding the new fish at night, when lights are out to help reduce stress. And, the next day, feed more than you usually would, more often. It will help "distract" the aggressors from chasing the new additions.
