Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum

Help Support Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum:

That's a good idea, Don. I heard a rumor that there's a new acrylic buffing tool coming out that can be used like a mag float. It's still in testing though.

I just stick the micro-abrasive sheets onto velcro and then use them with my cleaning magnet.

Hay ED. For the This will be a special Pay IT Forward (Bob Moore) Frag Swap. I have a piece of LE Bob Moore stag ( about 3"to 4" ) frag that I will donate as a door prize or your welcome to raffel it off. Some of you know the story behind this coral.
LONG LIVE BOB MOORE IN OUR HEARTS.

Could not think of a Better Coral to have at The Bob Moore Pay it Forward Frag Swap!

For those who didn'y know him, Bob was a close friend of mine who passed away last year following a grueling fight with cancer. He battled to the end, and we (family/friends) are the better for knowing him. Bob was one of the "old guard" in the hobby; I met him in 93 or 94. At that time his tank was virtually unrivaled here in the NW. He was the sort of guy who would gently help others, and lead them to help themselves. There are numerous systems around with corals that started via a donation from Bob, and at least a few who curently make their living in the biz too.

Very Cool,

Bob would appreciate gesture, I'm sure. If I can make it, I'll bring a few different frags of Bob's from a decade or so ago.

If I don't have much to pay forward but can I still join and become a member? As soon as I can GROW a few frags again I will be able to pay forward! Hope someone may have a bit-o-frogspawn that made it nine years before my tank-o-death in the south sound. I struggled to not give up after losing everything and after reading and lots of encouragement I am giving it another try. I only attended a meeting a couple years ago and I hope to gain some knowledge while meeting new folks too. Sounds like fun. Where do I sign up?

Ed on a side note, you are one of the main reasons I am a member of PSAS.
You remember what the club should stand for: keeping it simple and having some fun with friendly and caring people.

Thank you Mike

I would not be here if not for people like you. :) People like you sidetrack me into smiling. Thank you:)

I have had emails from new people wanting to bring softies to Bob Moores Frag Swap. I say do it. There are definitely people out there that will enjoy them. You probably would enjoy the fact that it came from you also.

Any Tommy Bahama shirts out there? ;) If you want to wear it to this Frag Swap it would be really cool!!
