does anyone own the aquamedic 3000 or the neuvamat? mine keep on losing suction even when i put new tubing.:(. could it be the rollers?
im pushing r/o water into a kalk reactor and everyday i have to restart it by blowing water into it so the rollers can deliver..
any suggestions would be great

Check the check valve two roller pumps must have a working check valve.

Don

hello don, i have two check valves i got in the box, tried either one and still does the same. followed the directions in placing the check valve, right after the roller, before it goes into a kalk reactor. im pushing no less than 3ft total length. i will try a different check valve again tonight. thanks

heres a crude pic of the setup. the r/o water sits on top of the skimmer waste box. it is then fed into the aquamedic. after the aquamedic is the check valve and then into the kalk reactor. out of the kalk reactor goes into the sump and then returned to the display.
after a intiate the suction after the check valve, it begins to work for about 12 hrs then it stops working. i have an automatic float valve in the r/o water bin that keeps the level constant.
any suggestions?

don, it was the check valve, i also had to over extend the tubing so it will get more of a stretching.

Ya it usually is. Those pumps rely to much on the check valve. I wouldnt expect it to last very long. They are fine for calcium reactor that dont ever get shut off but for things that cycle their junk. I think your better off with a good old cheap aqualifter.
