I may be playing with fire here but my kids would not leave the fish section in Petco yesterday (yes... I know what your going to say) because they found a maroon clown that they both loved. So for $17 I figured it was worth a shot rather than seeing their sad crying faces for the rest of the day. Anyway here are a couple new pictures from this morning. On a side note I do know my female clown has been harassing the new maroon clown (nipping a its tail), I hope they can be friends until my 90G is up and running!

Beautiful fish for sure. However your other clown nipping her fins may only be the beginning. Adding another clown into a tank with an already established pair will not make for a happy threesome They may eventually wind up killing her or her one of them.

I understand, I will take the risk and hope to reap the reward when my 90G is up!

Better than being at Petco waiting for death... atleast now he/she can make a stand for themselves. It seems to be doing fine as of right now. No more aggression from my female since this morning.

2 diff kinds of clowns r no bueno unless u got like a 200-400g.

1guydude, My 90G is just a standard rectangle made by Aqueon (I think). My new little clown seems to be doing ok but I do have someone local that's ready to adopt him/her if needed. I will probably give them a call soon. It's tail fin is starting to grow back a little.
