Hi,
These are brand new frags SA just released. They are normally 1-2" and priced in the $60-$80 range. As soon as they are acclimated later today, I'll get the staff to post pictures and accurate pricing:)
Thanks

I've checked out some info on the web about these "Reef Pods", but really - what are you supposed to do with them?

Is it something that'll start the culture? One time feeding kind of deal? You pour it in and it survives for a while, but then goes back to regular copepods programming? :)

Besides culturing them in a separate vessel with phytoplankton culturing and whole 9 yards I mean...

I buy the reef pods ( Tisbe biminiensis ) for live food that lives in the live rock for my pipefish.
Sometimes I will buy the others, like the tangerine pods for a few large feedings for it.

Cool, thanks! So Tisbes survive in the tank after seeding, but tangerines not?

I believe the tangerines are more of a open water swimmer, so they would be eaten faster than a pod that lived more around live rock. They are usually larger and easier to spot.

You can culture the tisbe pods in a separate container, or add them to your sump too, but I just dump them in the tank, usually when the lights are out.

Martin pretty much nailed it, but yes, you can use the pods as a one time feeding, culture separately, seed the tank, or seed the refugium. They will survive in the aquarium as long as they get enough phytoplankton to live off of, or until they get eaten;)
