2 questions. Would it be worth it to add a sedra9000 as a recirc only? I have tried the gate valve mod per asmskimmers.com and can`t get it to make good skimmate? Seems like it wants to make the skimmer surg up and down.Also the bubbles in the neck don`t want to move up? They are all the same size? With the riser tube they come into the neck very fine and work up from there. .Thanks Panhead.

How long have you had this skimmer running and it is not producing anything? How long has the tank been setup? How much of a load does the tank have?

Tanks been up long time. this setup 270 gal 135 display. 50 rubbermaid for skimmers and stuff and 110 gal swamp, frag tank ,,thing???? The g-5 allways pulled the stinky stuff out.. Great smimmer.. What i did was add a sedra 9000 as a recirc pump only.. Real easy and supper charged a allready great skimmer.This tank is sps and fish, lotsa both..
