Note the triple 8's of death, and a later than normal time!

Our meeting will be this Saturday @ 8PM, mainly to give me some time to get back from the lake before the meeting. Since we have no volunteers for hosting, the meeting will be held at my house as well. Last minute volunteers are always welcome of course!

Meeting reminder with directions will go out on Wednesday - hope to see ya all this weekend!

Our conversation topic will be TDS - I have a TDS meter if anyone wants to bring in their RO or Tap water and see how bad it really is . We will take a look at my system and talk about maintenance, benefits, installation, where to get RO/DI units and what kinds to watch for, etc.

Does anyone need some chaeto or purple digitalis? We can bring some to the meeting!

If you have enough Id like to get some more Chaeto for my sump and the purple digitalis. I cant make the meeting,
silly husband has to have a birthday and wants cake and like a party! The nerve!
Maybe we can make other arrangements tho ;)

Just let me know when you need it! Those darn birthdays. There is only one way to get them to stop!! Have a fun party.

Final reminder, meeting tonight @ my house @ 8 - be there or be square :)

Sorry Joanne, it doesn't look like we will be able to make the meeting tonight. We would like to host again as soon as I'm laid off at work. Thank you for having it at your house this time.

Meeting went good although only 5 showed up:( It was still fun:)

Lol- yeah - we had fun with water :) Apparently I need to change my filters since my TDS is 14, but Scott's new system is perfect with a TDS of only 2 ;) He gets to be the low scoring winner of the night!

Michael - Got you on the calendar for September, don't forget

Randy & Deanne - Got you on for November :)

Here's a link to our Google calendar which you can check anytime and see if there are any changes, etc. When I have someone for hosting a meeting I will enter it into that date's details. Yes, Kevin has a TDS meter. Just had him test my RO/DI water. I figured I'd gone too long between filter replacements and would be looking at high figures. I was pleasantly surprised to get a reading of 1.

Okay, for the September meeting, any ideas of a topic to be discussed?

If we're able, in advance, to get an idea of how many people to expect, we'll attempt to have at least snacks and refreshments available.

We're making more progress on the 200, finally. It'll be up and running, with most of the livestock from the 75 and 46 in it. Hopefully, the 75 and 46 will actually be gone by then...lol. If I haven't gotten rid of everything yet, I'll have several soft corals available. My goal is to have NO soft corals in the 200, except Ricordia and Zoanthids. We'll see if that actually happens though. I'm afraid I may end up with some hitchhikers from the 75.

Ummm topic - Your pick - Got anything in your tank that would make a good topic? I'm thinking we can talk about a certain species of coral & care... like zoas maybe?

I'd expect some lurkers to come out for your meeting - so think 20-25..... that should be safe :D
