Back in the hobby - New Fluval M40 at work

I have been out of the hobby for 4-5 years and starting with a work Nano tank. The live rock is up and going for 4 weeks and everything is looking good for initial cycling. I decided to go with a minimal sand bed and a large amount of rock. Excited to add the cleaner crew next. Is anyone in the Bellingham area?

I'm very big fan of that kind of hobby. I had my fishtank about 7 years ago. I'm thinking to get back to hobby again. I prefer more rock as well like nikanji and just small amount of sand. I want to get lots of green algae. My son own one small fish tank as well, but asking me for big one and i'm not sure if it's good hobby for 8 years boy. what do you think?
