Back in the hobby (well kinda) :P

Well, it's a start! :lol: I got the itch to have a tank and bought a 40 gal long and set it up. I initially put it on a metal stand that lasted 2 days then I broke out the tools and wood and went to work!!! I built the stand Tuesday and stained it, did the swap last night to the new stand then today, I built the canopy and stained that as well. Came out really nice. The stand has a hidden door as well as the canopy. You wouldn't know they were there unless I opened it. Just thought I'd post some pics of the look as I know some people are always looking for stand and canopy ideas. Who know's I may get the saltwater itch soon and switch over

:lol: HAHA! You'd be surprised what I still have lying around that I didn't give away. From a MH fixture, skimmer and so on (LOL). Going to take the easy way out for now with staying freshwater because I have a little one coming along in February and I won't have the time to be tinkering like I use to.

Sorry I haven't replied back to this! Been crazy from one thing to the next!! I'm still thinking salt later down the road but for now (as some of you might know from being on my friends list on facebook) my son was born yesterday morning. No time for salt!!!
