Are yours tank Raised? How old are they? I have been told it takes 3 years before they get to breeding age. How big are they?

I have a pair that I grew out from day old babies. They are just over a year old and are working on their forst clutch right now. The male is holding eggs and they should be ready to spit out in about 2 more weeks.

I would be interested in buying a couple (my wife loves them!) if you have any.

They will not be born/hatched for another 2 weeks and then it will be at least 3 months before they are big enough to ship but once they are ready I'll let everyone know.

it'll be fun having baby banggai's, ask Rod Buehler if you need any help/tips on raising them. He's like an, well he's is an expert on it basically.

WOW, I have a stache of BBS, and waiting for the female to lay eggs, they did a half mating dance not full, but part. the side to side thing no nippin fins.

You have any tips for raising them?

Get them eating non live foods as soon as possible. At about 4-5 weeks they can no longer eat enough baby brine shrimp to sustain their nutritional needs and will start dying if they are not weened onto prepared foods.
