What is better a pari of Bicolor Pseudochromis' or Royal Grammas? I was wondering so in the long run in the tank's road I will know what to get. Thanks

Depends on if you want a couple of hellraisers (pseudochromis) or a little mellower fish (gramma).

Personally, I like the more gradual fade between purple and yellow of the gramma, plus they seem to be a deeper purple. But that's just me.

I have a Psudo I am looking to find a home he will be posted in the livestock forum later tonight I don't even think you can do a pari fo them safely

Pseudochromis have always given me very big grief with wrasse's in the same tank. How big of tank do you have? What kind of currnet live stock list is in it right now?

I have no experience with the Pseudochromis, but the Royal Grammas can also be fairly aggressive. My RG tries to rip my hand and/or the syphon tube apart while I'm cleaning up around its cave. Its not big enough to hurt, but it is startling sometimes.

Very entertaining :)

i'd say a royal gramma dood .
i had a bicolor pseudocromis and he'd always fight with my six line wrasse and my clownfish

I tried to put two Gramma's in a 180 with a lot of rock, research I had done seemed to indicate that even if they didn't pair up they would have enough room to inhabit the same tank. Within moments they did this lethal spinning lip lock buried down in the rock where I couldn't net them. Both died. I hate these learning experiences... Never kept the pseudo's, easier to establish a mated pair from what I have read, but a single one is supposed to be very agressive towards even larger tank mates, I can only imagine how a mated pair would behave.... I have kept single Grammas with great success in "community" tanks over the years, I think you would have no problems with a single gramma for the most part, getting a pair would probably be a challenge, if you succeed I'd love to know how a mated pair behaves, might be a whole new aggression thing possibly.......
