Ok, So i'm wondering if anyone knows of a lumber company that will pay for large lumber quality trees. I have two large doug firs in my front yard (estimated height about 70ft. to be safe) both are 28"+DBH. I have had too many "widowmaker" branches fall in my yard each time getting close are closer to my house. the last one being over 3.5"dia landing about 1ft from my deck........
SO, I would like to see them go away but figured since they are big and very straight that a lumber company might be willing to pay for them to sell as board trees. Anyone else dealt with this kind of stuff before?
