This is my tank 7 months in the making. I have every intention of making it a shroom tank. I am fascinated with shrooms for some reason. right now I have 5 different species of them. Anyway, I love this hobby and cant wait to see my tank covered in shrooms.

two new fish I bought today. Coral beauty angel and a Clarkii clown. Only thing is, is that since I hooked my sump and overflow up and added 20 gallons to the tank my corals haven't been lookin so good. So Im playing detective.

also I fed my fish some Mysis shrimp and the Clarkii ate it but the Coral Beauty didnt. Hopefully it will eat tomarrow.

:)
Nice tank, very clean. :) Are you going to collect some ricordias with your shrooms? Those would look good in there too.

I think your tank is looking great. Patience is key, and dont try to rush things.. It takes things a while to start spreading, and if you keep going the way you are.. one day you'll be sitting back, looking at your tank.. and say MAN... MY TANK IS TO FULL TO PUT ANOTHER THING IN IT , gonna have to step up to a 120Gallon!!!(trust me):D

HAHA.. I'd love a 120gallon tank. This 55 is actually perfect for me right now. Water Changes are quick and simple and its not costing me too much to run. I'd hate to see the electricity bill for someone with a bigger tank.

Jaybo! You need to show some freakin pictures of your tank.

Video of my tank as of today.. you can see the difference in light color on each side of the tank. Thats because I'm using a 250w bulb in a 175w ballast on the right side of the tank. and the kelven between the two is different as well. I just put an order for two new bulbs so they should be here end of week or next week.

thanks, I wish I had more pink coralline on my back glass. I have a little on my rock but I cant seem to get in on the glass..lol.. oh well

Be careful what you wish for.... nice tank... you will have those corraline in no time... they like flow, not too much light and a little bit high on the calcium side.

thanks for the comments. Its a work in progress thats for sure. I'm not too concerned with having coraline like I use to be. I think I actually like the clean glass better. Of course it would be nice to see on my rock.

I'm getting two 175w Blue Life bulbs for replacements. Cant wait
