Bio Filter Q?

I just bought the Penguin 330 bio Filter and it has two trays in it for media what would be a really good media to put into those baskest other than Carbon or commercial grade media i was thinking of Crushing live rock any ideas??

IMO I would not use the bio wheel on a reef tank. Don't get me wrong as I have 4 of them but they are on my FW tanks.

What size of tank do you have?

Have you ever thought of making your own sump and refugium?
Do you have Live Rock and corals?

thats in the plans but need roon and a new tank stand
