Blenny/Goby-Tope

Ok, I have a 125 that I was planning to convert to a FOWLR so I can let my wife have some of the fish I keep having to say no to cuz they ain't reef safe. But recently I have picked up on the trend in her marine fish interest. She has gravitated towards the vast beautiful array of nudibranch's, and the adorability of Gobies/Blennies. So I had the idea the other day of carefully picking very porous with large holes for hiding style rock and turning this Tank into a massive colony of blennies and Gobies and pistols...I was hoping for some feedback on this idea. Plus is, minuses? Potential conflicts between species? Anything you might have. And if anyone has ever heard of this theme tank.

I know that some of the gobies are very territorial. I have a pink bar goby with his pistol shrimp and anyone who swims to close to his hole, he will shoot out after them and chase them off. I have been thinking about adding another shrimp goby for my other pistol shrimp but I don't know if it will cause a conflict. The goby pretty much stays close to his burrow, but will venture out, but not too far, to see what;s going on. If you had several of them, spread out through out the tank I don't see a problem. Blennies on the other hand will fight with each other. I wanted to get a tail spot blenny, but since I have a flame tail already in the tank, I was told one will attack the other and more than likely the flame tail would get killed. He has been in the tank for several years and he has priority over any new blenny additions.

Can you guys suggest some of your favorite gobies and blennies So I may compile a list for my wife to research

Favorite Blenny's for me are the Tailspot and Bi-Colored. Goby's are Tangaroa, Highfin and Twinspot.

i was under the impression gobys were fine together. As long as space and filtration allows the 40small fish. Blennys will fight to the death.

Another neat blenny is the Ember Blenny (Cirripectes stigmaticus).
Spendy though... They sell quickly too.
