Just felt I would post up an announcement that I am going to be bowing down as an admin and in the running of Reef Frontiers. I am getting involved in a commercial venture that I feel will be in a direct conflict of interest with being an admin here at RF. I will be passing the reigns to Scooterman who has been faithfully serving the board for coming on to a decade, we will be in very good hands. Not going to leave the board (actually probably be here much more often) so you all cant get rid of me that easy :yo:.

Mike, when I read the title, I was really hoping to read that you'd set up a new bowfront tank, though I knew better and instinctively knew what I was about to read. As sad as it is, entering a new chapter in your life will be fun and exciting! I wish you the best of luck in your new business venture!! Thanks for creating the best reef keeping forum on the internet!
 
Mike, you have created a site that has brought a-lot of people closer. Not to mention the sharing of their passion. That is not an easy task.
My hat is off to you.

I wish you all the luck in the world on your new venture. If it is half as successful as this site, you will be setting fat.

As an insider I can say. Not many will be surprised, but most will be amazed.

In looking back I think I might have worded that to where it could be taken that I was leaving RF. So I will try to explain it a bit better :oops: . I am not leaving RF I will still be on the board and will be probably allot more active :tape: .

The venture I am getting into is that I have partnered up we Becca and Eric (EWW) and we are going to be opening a huge 4000 sq. ft. Reef store.....thus the conflict with being with being the owner of RF and charging sponsor who are in the same biz as me?? Didnt feel right so I pass the boat anchor :eyebrows:....I mean easy to run RF :angel: to Scotty.

Hey I was born just outside of Bakersfield!!!!! No luck on that location Spinner, sorry but we will deliver lol . We will be about 3 blocks south of South Center in Tukwila.
