Still amazed
Bought a established tank a month a ago. Sand is now brown and can't seem to keep it clean. Is this an algae bloom? What can I do about it

Diatom Algae. It's a regular part of any new tank, or tank that's been recently disturbed. With the right water conditions and flow, it'll go away soon.

Yep, every tank does it. Read the sticky on algaes and stuff. And do a search for Diatom algea on here. Good stuff in there!! Congrats on the new tank! Just wait for all the other crazy stuff it'll start doing! Lol
