This is looking like a Unique little tank....We will be following along to see it with water in it...and corals too...

so , another trip to home depot , and 40 bucks later , have paint for the stand and hood , and the rest of the plumbing stuff
 
and im still waiting to get off work smart kid , hey ,,, if you would have asked i would have let you borrow my new fish trap . maybe you would have caught something ! hahahga
 
220 am , ready for bed but figguerd i would post a couple pics from the phone of what i did tonight . painted mini stand/hood / overflow . put some plumming parts together . more to come tomorrow

thanks , its kinda a maroon . so i got up and started working , cut the mini stand for the pass through , cut the main stand for the pass through cleaned and repainted the stand to match the tank . and put it all back together . its amazing what a couple cans of paint do ...

ok so a few hours , a 1/8 in piecw of acrilic , some weldon add another 30 bucks to the build and here we go ........................
1/8 acrilic trimmed to fit the gap , more weldon and a pair of vice clamps 3 pieces are one ......

then off to plumbing while it cures ...................

while that was setting up , i made this little piece, piece of difuser with acrillic sides

marked and dremmeled out a spot for it , and you guessed it ......... more weldon
 
Yeah that came out super clean. If you put a gate valve on the primary line and dial it back you'll stop the gurgling noise.
 
hahaha been busy , but yes as a mater of fact . it got moved to the final resting spot this morning , picked up the materials to hang my t5 over it until i can figure out what i want to do for lighting . got water ready , picked up a heater , might need a bigger pump but we will see , installed a balvalve in the return now it doesnt sound like a toilet . should be salty tonight
 
LOL I meant is the water all over your floor from failure yet.....LOL but that's good news also.
 
lol no ! it has been running on the porch for the past few days , ran in to a few issues , tiny bulk head leak , and i some how glued a union together , so another union a small length of pipe , that prob is fixed , and installed , been running again and all issues fixed . , time to get salty !
