cal/alk and ph not sure if this is a problem in my tank...

So from what I've read the best things to do to decrease alk is:

1. Waterchanges
-I use IO, and the alk reading is 11.8 so this won't help me, is there a way to decrease this?

2. Less waterchanges ( if your salt mix has high alk levels)

After a 4g waterchange the alk in the tank is 11.8 and by the end of the week goes down to 11.6. I've stopped doing the kalk drip overnight since it's adding more alkalinity to my tank. And am relying on C-balence calcium additions.

Now I don't know how to balence this.

I would like to use the kalk drip for cal addition, phosphate percipitate and pH stabilization. But are the benifits worth it? is it going to continually increase my alk ( i assume yes).

Should I do smaller less frequent waterchanges to allow my alk to decrese, is this going to cause other problems in my tank, and how would i keep the alk levels lower?

Is my Alkalinity to high (11.8)? I can't change salt mixes as I've bought 3 large buckets of IO.

It was so much better when I didn't know what was going on with my chemistry!!!

Sorry that there is so many questions, I'm starting to get really frustrated right now, and my tank seems like it's falling apart!:(
