You know! it's not easy to be a reef keeper as I thought. I have an other question need to be learn from you guys. I'm using calcium reactor that dripping in to the same chamber with skimmer. In my tank, the calcium level has been reached 400, and couldn't reach higher even I tried to release more dripping from reactor. Is the skimmer picking up the calcium ? please giving me an advise. Thanks.

What is you magnesium testing at? (if you list your other params, that could be helpful also) Mg will limit the alk and cal...

I don't test for Calcium with my reactor very often. THE MOST IMPORTANT READING IS YOUR ALKALINITY. As long as you keep your Dkh stable, You should not have to worry too much about your calcium.
I keep my Dkh around 10-12 and my calcium is never above 400 and mg is never above 1300. I don't try to chase perfect numbers. If all of your Dkh, Ca, and Mg numbers are not extremely low or extremely high, then don't worry about it.
I test my Alkalinity every week and only test for Calcium and magnesium about once a month or more.
