Can't get pure water flow from RO system

-Has anyone ever had this problem?-

I just replaced my membrane for a coralife pure-flo II RO system. When I run water through the system, I get waste water but NO pure water. If I put back in the old mebrane, I get pure and waste water as expected.

I am wondering if a new membrane has to be primed/saturated or something before you get normal flow??

Possibly a defective O-ring or it didnt seat properly. Water will just skip the membrane then

I got it from my LFS. However, you can also get if off the internet from:
www.marineandreef.com
www.aquariumguys.com

It will take a while to saturate & slowly start making more & more water out, also check your set-up & If you have a flush valve that it is blocked.
