Cause of Microbubbles

I have an eschopps hang on back skimmer. It has been running for about 6 months. All of a sudden I am getting a lot of micro bubbles. I have the foam bubble disperser. What could be causing this? What can I do to fix this?

Nothing changed in the tank.

have you been dosing anything? One time I clean my tank and does with tech cb and i got a crazy loads of mircobubble that last for like a day.

Do you clean the sponge out???? I had to clean the sponge on mine every few days to keep it working good.

Clean the sponge, I have a HOB skimmer on my 75 gallon and I use a little box with a sponge in it. Fixed it for me
