Hello fellow reefers!

I wanted to share some pictures of this 8''x18'' kalkwasser stirrer with you all. this size is capable of running a system up to 1000g or 500g with a heavy load. With the premium quality blueline pump its sure to run for a very long time issue free. these units also feature a quick fill access for adding kalk with out the need of removing the lid!

We also build these in 4'' and 6'' as well to fit even the smallest of reef tanks.

Cheers!
Matt

Ok, here are some shots of the quick fill cap. It is simple and effective, very easy to open and close in seconds! After all isnt quick and easy the way it is supposed to be?

I like to use a cheap small auto funnel adding kalk one tsp at a time to be sure the opening does not plug with kalk paste...

Here are some pictures of the stirrer in operation. I started with a picture of the reactor with all the kalk settled at the bottom, then pluged in the pump and took pictures every 5 seconds untill the kalk slur reached its peak (this is where it stays even with the pump left on.) This is about 40 seconds of operation.
