Mojo,
Ok I have been testing the salinity issue that you said would need to be addressed if someone uses a 2 part cal & Alk additive.

I use CalxMax by Warner Marine and have tested every day now and have the results that are now final.
1. Tested 1 hours after adding both part A and part B.
2. No change in Salinity 1.023
3. I think Randy may have been talking about another 2 part cal alk that does not use high grade materials when making the product.
4. Once again I will back the Warner Marine 2 part Cal and Alk additives

Hehehe Warners products are great Nautilus, I use them when ever I have to. Jon Warner is actually a good friend. The raise is salinity is an effect of long term use my friend. Jon was actually out here about two weeks ago talking to the local club, he was actually the one that came up with the it. He had a the graphs and suched that should the raise and how it could skew the chemistry over time. Thier are things you can do to correct the imbalance though, stuff like simply remove some SW and replacing it with fresh.

Mojo,
You have friends everywhere. :D
Thanks for the info.
I think that with my 10 gallon water changes every 2 to 3 weeks will be good enough then. I hope !
