Yeah, I pickelized my power heads and heaters, pure distilled vinegar, I am not sure if it matters if it is distilled.

Doesnt matter, really you could use about anything with a low ph. I think even lemon juice would be lower than distilled vinegar. Low ph just disolves lime.

every few weeks of when ever i notice then get a little dirty, a toothbrush and some warm tap water a quick dry and back to work... really when i notice a drop in flow they need clean
