How far from a powerhead and overflow would you recommend a closed loop intake be.
I am working on a tank and I am not sure how far to put two from the overflow that will also have two Tunze Streams near it.

In my opinion, the above options don't really apply for closed-loops.

I would be more concerned about the size hole you will be using as the closed-loop intake, and the pump you will be using....and the holes of the output :)

The PVC pipe size, also matters.

I always up the size on plumbing by at least 1/4" or 1/2" this allows for less restrictions & getting higher flow, why waste all that on heat.

I would as mentioned place your CL where you need it & if necessary you can adjust the PH's as needed, something you can't do with a CL. Also as mentioned your suction will take up space!
