one of my clownfish has bumps growing one by one...it started in the gills then it erupted and it looked really bad...then i notice one showed up in the body and erupted again the next day leaving a small hole....

my clownfish is still swimming and active though it like to stay in the hammer coral...it eats fine....

i am a bit worried....please i need an advice on what to do....:(

thanks:)

I'm a bit confused.

You say the one bump began in the gill. How did you observe this? Do you mean you saw something on the gill, under the gill plate?

After the one errupted on the body, what did the hold look like? Did you see blood? What color is 'in' the hole? around the hold?

A photo is really important to help thoroughly. What you've described is not common, so the description isn't good enough. The fish needs to be quarantined immediately regardless of what the problem might be.

ok heres a pic i took...now he is out swimming..he doesnt stay in one corner anymore and theres no new bump appeared....hes more active now looking for food and eating....
this is after it erupted...the white scale/skin that is hanging is gone...

I hope the fish has enough energy left to handle the cure.

Move the fish to a quarantine tank. Keep water quality absolutely tops. Follow QT guidelines given here: A Quarantine Procedure.

The treatment is a combination of a treatment for Marine Ich and Brooklynellosis. You have to use both treatments for these pathogens.

Treat with Cupramine according to the medication instructions. PLEASE don't substitute with another copper medication. Use a SeaChem or (preferably) a Salifert Copper Test Kit to hold the copper reading at 0.3 to 0.5 ppm copper. (Just for general information and technique, you want to read: Curing fish of Marine Ich and especially: Copper Medications - Good, Bad, and Ugly)

Now, while the fish is being thus treated, remove the fish from the QT into a bath of QT water with Formalin in it. That is, you'll be giving the fish 5 dips in Formalin, one dip every other day. This is that treatment procedure: Formalin Treatment of Marine Fishes

The above is a lot of work, expense, and time. I know of no shortcuts or easier path, other than to separate the fish and treat, or separate the fish and euthanize (Euthanasia -- Putting a Marine Fish Down).

i woke up this morning and clownfish is dead....i didnt do any treatments as he was doing really fine the past few days....the gills have healed and the bump on body is gone erupted leaving a bare spot....the bump is like under the scale as when it erupted it didnt show any flesh or blood...he was really normal even played with my other clownfish...even mean to the chromis like what he used to do...eating and swimming fast...

it was swimming and hosting the hammer actively last night until i woke up this morning......he was 1/3 eaten by my mini red carpet....it was shocking to see...but then im thinking maybe it got stung and couldnt have the strength to swim away....:(
