Think I have this video thing somewhat figured out now. This features my 10yr. old percs spawning. This is the only time they used a rock face instead of their usual pvc pipe home, I posted pics of in the picture forum.

Figured better to post it here instead but please feel free to move it if not correct place. :yo:

 
Thanks. They never let the shrimp get close. I have never seen any losses over the years from any of their spawns. One or the other is always on guard and mouthing the eggs. Usually momma eats while he has to stay on watch, then she lets him out for a morsel or two. :lol:

I would imagine the shrimp get their fair share during the hatch though. I removed my filter sock the other day and the skimmer was full this morning, then I noticed the newest batch had hatched. Perhaps some made it to the rubble and baby mysid shrimp living in the sump. Who knows. That would be neat. :D
