Wat on earth is the diff between the two? How can one tell the diff? Does the colt shed like most leathers? We are having a dispute on another thread about if a member has a kenya tree or a colt leather?!?!? AHHhHHHHHhh anyone owned both or can shed some light on this darkness!?!?!

Appears to be the same..the kenya tree is from the capnella species:

The Kenya Tree Coral, also referred to as a Cauliflower Soft Coral, Nephthea, or Nephthya, is similar to the members of both the Litophytonand Nephthea genera.

It is a good beginner soft leather to start with.

did that help???

Hello,
The commonly called Kenya Tree Coral is most often associated Capnella sp. While Colt Coral Is most often Alcyonium sp.
Note: Both the common names are used to describe both species.
Alcyonium generally do not drop branchlets while Capnella can almost rain them down.

Regards,
Kevin
