Hey Anthony! First, I'll confess that I did miss your fragging demo the other night in Richland, but I think you did mostly SPS.

I am fragging my lovely colt coral. I have slit it where it was cleaving and put a piece of LR in there for it to attach to. Apparently it didn't like my idea much and just decided to break off after day 3.

Question is: what's the easiest way to get it to attach to a rock bc Barbie wants it, but not just floating around her new tank?

Don't use superglue on Colt coral. Either rubber band it loosely to a rock, or toothpick through it, and rubber band the toothpick....

Just my opinion.

Hey Elmo, aren't you Barbie's friend?

I was thinking toothpick or needle-like thing, but I've never done anything like that.

Another variation of the rubber band method is to use two small pieces of rock.
Trap the piece of coral between the two pieces of lr and rubber band them together.

oops sorry I need to learn how to read  ... yes as said before rubberband is my favorite method or to put it with rocks...

a single stitch or two with needle and plastic thread is the best and most assured way of securing it. (cut the thread after a week or two if you like)

A cocktail toothpik (flared end) is a good runner up IMO

:)

I stabbed it (at least that's what it felt like!) with a toothpick to a rock. I also put the rock and colt in a mesh breeder basket to help cut down on flow and those lovely gobies who like to perch on it.

*does a happy dance* Is it really yet Jenny? huh huh, is it? well is it? :p *ducks and runs*
