Coral ID please!!!

Thanks, how hardy are they? Ive found this one in my LFS and they are willing to sell cheap if i can identify it, since they couldnt....

Boomer is correct with the ID.
They are nonphotosynthetic. They are almost impossible to keep alive due to their nutritional requirements. They are best kept in a dark location to prevent algae growth on them. They have small white polyps that extend for feeding. I do not know of anyone who has kept one alive for an extended period in their home aquarium. A beautiful coral tempting to try but best left in the ocean.

Thanks for the info, now that makes me think twice before bying something which wont last long in my reef.....was looking at an elegance but after reading the numerous accounts of them i am not ewven going to touch one anytime soon.
