This sight needs to bury it's self and start over. There is very little participation or new discussion in this group. Everything is very outdated. No wonder you hardly ever see a lot of members on the sight.

If it was that easy then you would see a ton of new sites like it was a decade ago, all competing to outdo each other, some actually making money lol!
I suspect you joined to access our sales forums and realized (not reading the UA that explains all this) you have to actually be a member here a while to see the sales forums.
FYI, even if it was all open it wouldn't make a difference these days, people just don't have the patience as before, all they want is down and dirty, fast and cheap LOL
We're a community forum here, it is what it is but we are definitely a well experienced group, willing to help, teach and support those whom appreciate such a thing. In the long run we'll save you more money than the FB way of doing things, we have good members and good sponsors, maybe not the biggest group out there but I'm willing to say probably one of the more experienced and willing to help group. This site isn't for everyone and we know FB has the dominating hand but as long as we can pay the bills it will be here.
BTW equipment can get outdated but the process we have actually still work to this day, sure new stuff comes along to make it easier I agree but the principles really don't change that much, there are certain requirements that just must happen to sustain a living reef.
After you've kept a reef ten years or more, come back and let us know how and what your doing, bet you'd be surprised to see what we offer here still apply to those long term results.
