Hi all
I have a large t. Derasa, it's been in my tank for a while, it's grown from the size of a golf ball to larger than a football and has always been healthy. I've seen a change in it recently and I'm wondering why and if I need to be concerned at all....3 months ago I moved the tank and removed a 5 year old DSB in favor of a BB setup. After doing so, I noticed a change in the growth of the shell on the derasa...instead of growing straight up, the upper edge of the shell has curled 180 degrees and is growing downwards....why is it doing this? Is this something I need to be concerned about, or is this normal in large clams?
thanks
MikeS
