i got the skimmer for £40 off ebay only 8 months old and from what i can find worth about £400 with the ocen runner 3500 in which it's supplied with

Well that seems to be cheap for a skimmer, sounds like it may be a good deal. let us know.

just recieved the skimmer. Tested out the ocean runner 6500 pump that come with it and seems to working fine. The only problem is it's alot bigger than i expected and wont fit in the sump cubord, so i'll have to do a bit of chopping and rearranging. hope it all works. It's got a 3.5 inch diamiter riser tube which i have allways thought is a good sign in a skimmer is this true.

If dinoflagellates, you will also find that a UV sterilizer will help.
