iam being overtaken by dinoflagettes, been doing reg water changes i have RO water, have been running phos remover, siphioning like crazy just replaced bulbs had to go from 250 14000k to 250 10000k seems that that was the around the time it arrived its pretty bad, all over stringy bubble laiden brownish stuff any ideas? it seems the more i do the worse it gets

Sometimes these things have to run the course, sounds to me like your doing the right things but maybe it needs more time before things equalize.

try

i had my run with dino and whatever i did seemed to help but it was a three week battle. here is what i found to help

water changes every couple days
siphoning it out make sure not to spread it
added chemipure
turned lights completly off for 48hrs. then started by turning lights on for 2hr than off for 4 and on again for 2hours total time 48hrs. then lights on for 3 off for 3 on for 3 48hrs. so on and so on until i worked back up to regular light period.
i would also suggest adding some chateo and provide constant lighting for it until dinos are gone and then just on at when tank light is off.

good luck and be patient hope one of more of these ideas might help

what kinda flow do you have

one last thing what is your turnover rate??

the addition of more flow might also be beneficial

ph is 8.2 8.3 i have 1 tunze,2250gph, 1 seio 1100 gph in tank,rio1700 hyper flow for return, can this stuff stress out corals and clams? it seems to like my clams alot i am constantly turkey baster blasting it off them , jagwire what is chateo?thanks for everyones input ,this bites my tank was really doing great finally!

You also might want to see if you can adjust your skimmer for more optimal performance. You need to get rid of those nutrients!
