I don't understand why you havn't tried 1" inside 1 1/4" standard pvc. It works great.

I found it at a local plumbing supply shop in Plymouth, Indiana.

I was trying to keep "to spec" using a 1-1/4" output for the skimmer. I'll check again maybe that won't make that much of a difference in the skimmer performance (back pressure).
