Filtered Puget Sound Water

There is an individual in Everett that sells Filtered Puget Sound water for around 80cents a gallon. I was wondering if anyone has used this water or heard anything good or bad about using water from the Puget Sound?

I have a RODI filter but since I recently purchased a 150gal from OBD It will take weeks for me to come up with that kind of water.

Ihave never used it myself but have had people i know use it with no problems. I would test for alk and cal to make sure it will work for your set up. Seattle Aquarium has been selling this water to reefers for years without any problems I've heard of.

Check this kit out and see if you can add-on to your set. I completed this and can generate 7 gallons/hr. Think of the travel and fuel you'll save making it yourself over a 24hr period. Easily more than your tank capasity.

I will have to take a look, I think my main problem is the water pressure at my house.

You can get a booster pump that goes before the RO/DI

He gets his water from the aquarium for 7 cents a gallon. Nice mark up if you ask me

Yep I've seen him there when I get my water for my Coldwater tanks.

If I had a way of transporting 150gallons of saltwater I would look into going to the aquarium.

It's actually free right now.

Another thing to consider is the ph is low and the dkh is low along with calcium. It would be good to buffer a bit.
