Now I have an outbreak of red Algae and I cant get rid of it. Ive tried scrubbing and water changes but still nothing and I think I need some more CUC becuase the small amount isnt cutting it. The green Hair algae is taking over my zoa's and I need it gone. I am in desperate need of a solution to the red algae problem..... Please Help.......

for the red algae just add more flow i.e. your power heads move them around to get more flor to that area i had an outbreak and thats what i did i also cleaned up as much as possible by hands. As far as the hair alge get some emerald crabs if u can or a lawnmower blennie.

That's not a BTA. I think it's a Condylactis. It's the color it's supposed to be. May I suggest you get your power heads a little closer to the surface. The extra surface agitation will increase the oxygen in your water. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Good luck.

I just got rid of all of my dredded red algae. I was advised to add this stuff and it will take of it in 2 weeks without hurting anything. here it is http://www.petmountain.com/product/...aquarium-pharmaceuticals-marine-algaefix.html

It works great just takes about 2 weeks. Just add 1mil per 5 gallons, once every 3 days.
