Well it sure feels like a big deal to me

Picked up a little more live rock to make it about 100 lbs in my 90 gallon tank. And my sister in law gave me a my first softy (thanks Krisfal) We tested my water and it was in better shape than I thought. It's a good feeling to look in the tank and see that kind of color.
Hope I can sleep. :):baby:

Congrats!!! Good luck with it!! :D You are sure it is a polyp right because I remember a member here quite a number of years ago starting a thread all excited that he got his first coral and even posted a picture of it because he was so proud of it to find out it was aiptasia he actually had  .

Yes I got it from a very knowledgeable friend.

I was the same way with aiptasiea feeding it and all until I started looking into starting a FOWLR

Oh, I have no doubt whatsoever that you got yourself something really nice from krisfal. She is a wonderful contributing member here. :). I was just cracking you :p. When you get a chance post a picture. Would be nice to see what you have now and how much it has grown in a few months from now. :)

I am beond happy with the short Term results.
Things seem somewhat manageable, so I am obviously Clueless.

LOL, I think I remember that, saw the picture and read the excitement level and did not have the heart to tell them it was a pest. What about the guy who was trying to sell his majano(sp?) anemones . . .

WaBlonde and Unrefined give me a PM in 3weeks and tell me how your NEW members are doing and if Good-To-Go then I have a Frag of Zoa for both of you:high5: for FREE. Let me know.

That would be great. Don't want to rush things. ( not true ) there is Just so much to learn. One thing I am learning is reefers are a bunch of great people that like to help you learn from their experience. (mistakes)

Thanks Dtech

Many (in ways you have no clue yet??) have helped me and shown "THE" TRUE Reefing mind SET. Let me know when your FOR SURE your ready.

Short update sorry no pictures yet still using my phone to access RF.
Picked up 29 gal sump/skimmer with small refugiem and got plumbing working. Converted my Fluval 405 to carbon filter to lower the nitrate level. Picked up two clowns and RBTA with the hopes they will host.
Red slime all but gone just algae left to *reduce. Love this hobby, still don't have the funds to make the primo setup, but just grateful to have a good

Nice and good to hear, well it seems some of the best one in this Hobby seem to know a lot about cutting corners and making all work on a VERY LOW budget, so keep up the GREAT work and "when you are able" send pic's and when ready let me know i have a frag or two for you. Take care
