Fish in the sump

Hey guys i am temporarily housing a clownfish in my refugium until my current clowns get picked up by they're new owner (maybe Tuesday). Im wondering if I can keep my 24/7 light schedule with a fish down there? Also, should I feed him or will he be OK with copapods and red gracilara? Thanks

I'm currently feeding formula 2, mysis, brine, nori, and some additives. No sock at this time. I'm hoping he'll be happy eating copapods and macro for a few days because any food I put into the sump goes straight to the pump

I'm sure it will be fine for a few days but is it really that big of a deal to turn the pump off and feed it?

Probably to keep it from going sexual which I hear can nuke a tank.

I've read that plants do their growing when the lights are off but I've tried 12 on 12 off, and 18/6 and my macro grows substantially better with a 24/7 schedule. But I'll give the fish a nap when I get home.

from what i've read, you'll top out on 24/7 and start too see decline. if you aren't seeing it though, could be bad memory/reading

Agree with 1guydude.... The ocean doesn't have light 24/7 nor should your refuge.

I tried to avoid 24/7 lighting because I like the idea of a pH stabilizing reverse cycle, but my macro just wasn't doing very good until I switched to 24/7. Everything is growing well now and I don't like the idea of "fixing" something that isn't broken. That being said, if nobody on rf is agreeing with my lighting schedule maybe I'll test out 18/6 again. What is your guys fuge lighting schedule?
