Hey Gang,

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone wanted to have/host a meeting sometime soon? Now that the semester is over Shelby and I have pretty open schedules, especially after New Years. I haven't had a good hot buttered rum in a while...

Anyway, it would be nice to catch up with everyone.:high5:

Yep its time to get together again. Miss not seeing everyone. I will have the meeting at my place if nobody else wants to host it. And Rob have you done anything with your tank?

my tank is a work in progress right now. i have done a few things to it. check out this link

i am going to go with big FW aggressive fish. my electric bill has dropped over $100 per month since i shut everything off. it's really hard to get much done with my arm in a sling but the part that is really causing it to go slow is two fold, my driftwood wants to float and i hear this little voice in my head saying "Rome wasn't built in a week, neither was a (not) Reef tank.........." :):):)

I really liked my 170 FW tank. I had it on a sprinkler timer to take care of evaporation and water changes. The only thing I had to do was add food. I collected L-Series plecos so I had a big cleanup crew. With the arowana, clown knife, shovel tiger catfish, alligator gar, polypterus and a couple other meat eaters, I was going thru 30-50 goldfish a week plus a lot of green beans, the Fire eels loved them!

do you have any pics of your 170? i'd like to see them.... maybe PM them to me- i don't want to hyjack this thread :)

Bump, Bump, Bump

Anyone with a free weekend to host/meet? From what I am gathering, people's schedules are slowing down a bit. Hoping that sometime in January we can figure something out.

Open to thoughts and suggestions...:gh:

Thanks for sending a personal message my way, Devon. Otherwise who knows how long it would've taken me to check in and see this thread. I really am sick of being busy! :dizzy: The last couple of weekends in January would work for me. Would be nice to catch up with everyone now that the (sigh) holidays are over! Hope everyone (and their tanks) are well!
