I use to have an emperor 400 on my 30g saltwater tank. I removed the filter and added two korallia nano power heads. I placed the bio wheels in the sump as well as the filter pads that i use that contain carbon. Will this be ok or should i add the filter back to the tank? i know they can become nitrate factories and that is the reason i removed it.
