I have a Boxer / Rottweiler mix.
She is 3 or 4 years old and very loving dog. house broken, basic training, sit laydown, go to bed, fetch, shake, etc. She was raised around other dogs the size of mini-lap dogs to other boxers. She loves to play like a boxer but has the working complex of the rott. She is brown with black, not Black and Tan.
It is sad that the kids just do not pay enough attention to her any longer with their busy high school lives. She is very much loved and out of love I choose to give her to a good home. She would be great farm dog but she would have to be part of the family.
She has never made any motions of harm while we have been around, but she is a good watch dog when we are not. Protective of the family and her yard but not so protective that you have to warn people to stay back or anything like that. The one time I saw her get agressive was because she was being teased by the cable guy. I warned him not to tease the dog and he was smart mouth about it so I went inside. He kept teasing her and she just sat and watched him. He came into our yard without permission or notice and made a motion like he was going to throw a stick at her. She pinned him down and barked until I went outside and told her "Be Nice" and she was fine
Look she is just a great dog and I cannot keep her. If I thought she would not be anything but loving to someone I would not give her away. I feel safe having anyone of any age around her.
She is a big dog like the rott, I believe 90lbs but it is 90lbs of complete utter love and fun.
if you are interested or know someone that might be please let me know. I will keep her as long as I can.
